Wash Guide
1. Run a bath!
Heads: Fill the tub up to around 5 inches with warm water.
parts: fill the tub as full as is needed with warm water to completely submerge the parts
2. Place suit in bath!
Heads: just to be safe, try not to get eyes wet/soapy, however do not worry if you do! My eyes are spray coated in a protective layer to prevent the paint from coming off. (NEVER scrub eyes)
Let water get inside the head and use a cup to douse parts of the head above the water.
parts: tails, paws, sleeves, bodysuits can be tossed into the water fully.
Note: airbrushed markings should be kept away from soap/water.
3. Soap!
use a gentle detergent to clean, and some hair conditioner to soften.
lightly massage soap into fur and on the inside of the head. if you’d like to do a thorough clean then you can also turn parts inside out and apply soap.
4. Rinse!
lightly squeeze soap out of fur/fabric.
Use water to rinse soap and conditioner out of fur.
drain the tub, and then lightly squeeze (do not twist!) as much water as you can out of foam/fabric/fur
5. dry!
Bring fursuit into a well ventilated room, hang items or place them on top of a towel in front of a fan to dry. They can also be hung/placed on a balcony (if humid outside then this is not the best option). heads will dry faster if placed directly on top of a fan. Drying can take up to 3 days.
6. Safe storage
Fursuits can get moldy if stored in a moist environment so no basements/garages. Fursuits should preferably be hung up in a closet with the head placed up on a shelf. Never store a head where the ears or other parts will get smushed, long periods of time In a smushed position can deform and cause ware to the head. You can also store parts in a tote, again make sure there is NO moisture whatsoever. If you chose this option make sure to check up on your fursuit ever so often to make sure there is no mildew or other problems.

fursuit spray D.i.y.
all fursuits from me come with a complementary bottle of homemade disinfectant fursuit spray, when you eventually run you of said spray you can easily make more yourself!
Ingredients:
-50% isopropyl alcohol
-water
-teatree oil
-any essential oil of your choosing
(optional but recommended)
(personal favorites are lavender and geranium)
-spray bottle
here’s how!
I usually start by filling the bottle 3/4 with water, and then filling up the rest with the alcohol. (You’ll want to leave a little bit of room at the top for the oil)
lastly just add 5-10 drops of teatree oil and 5-10 drops of any other essential oil of your choosing. Close the bottle and shake vigorously to mix.
there you have it! Now you have your very own homemade disinfectant fursuit spray! (You can also use it on yourself)
